1. Reflecting on 2019 achievements
It’s really easy to skip on through life either completely in the moment or living for the next thing. Each year I spend some time, (about 15-30 minutes spread out over a few hours or days), to reflect on what my achievements have been. Highlights for me this year have been listening to my body when I needed a break, welcoming wonderful new clients and keeping my rituals in place for my best, happiest life.
2. Acknowledge where I’m feeling gratitude for what’s happened in 2019. Practicing gratitude has been a life changer for me. I began by simply looking for silver linings when I felt I had been dealt a poor hand (that was about 15 years ago) and I’m delighted to say that it really has changed my life, my outlook and my attitude. In my list I’ve talked about relationships, my lovely new home and for trusting myself in making bold choices
3. Set my 2020 goals. You don’t have to wait until the change of the year to set goals, but for me it’s almost a ritual now that I plan for, and work with. The darker December evenings bring my energy to reflection, and then after Christmas my energy lifts towards focus. I’ve got personal and business goals noted. Mine include launching my new membership, taking myself on a mini retreat and running my online programme twice (March and October).
